Bivial AG at the Reflect Festival 2022

Reflect Festival, one of the biggest tech and entrepreneurial events in Europe and the Middle East, took place last week. During the event, Bivial Chairman, Mihkel Vitsur had the pleasure of co-presenting the talk “An Unlikely Union: How Banks and Crypto Companies are Co-Evolving to Serve a Changing World” alongside Arina Dudko, Head of Corporate Payment Solutions at CEX.IO as well as to meet and connect with representatives from leading tech companies around the world.
“It was a great experience to share the stage with Arina, we hope our presentation gave the audience an overview of how Banks and Crypto companies are co-evolving. As users are starting to look more and more for all-in-one solutions, established banks and even central banks are forced to introduce blockchain-based products to meet the rising demand, and other digital asset strategies to avoid getting left behind. Fiat and digital assets were once separated into traditional (TradFi) and decentralized (DeFi) markets, now users want one convenient location to manage all their payment and financial needs, suggesting that a more integrated future is on the rise.” said Mihkel Vitsur, Bivial Chairman.
Commenting on the discussion panel “Cross-border payments: Navigating the complexity and staying ahead of the future trends” led by Ugne Buraciene, Bivial Advisor and Group CEO of payabl., Martynas Bieliauskas, Bivial CEO said, “It was particularly interesting to be among this diverse group of panelists representing multiple facets of the cross-border payment landscape to share their thoughts on what lies ahead. Modern online companies face difficulties dealing with antiquated systems and processes offered by traditional financial institutions. Ultimately, digital companies are looking for efficient, fast, cost-effective, and secure cross-border international payments.”
